Who did what?

Who did more?

What’s a fair division of labour?

In a recent essay for The Globe and Mail, writer Kate Carraway argues fathers should take on MORE than half of the household load.

Her husband, Simon, who works in finance, already shoulders 75% of it.

And in her view, it’s still not enough.

Predictably, the piece hit a raw nerve with readers, generating hundreds of online comments – some supportive, but most outraged at Carraway’s demands and expectations on the saintly Simon.

The Globe published my theory on what’s really driving Carraway’s frustration – and why no amount of chore delegation will fix it.
